The Rise of Essential Oils

You've probably been hearing a lot about essential oils lately. They're all over social media, as if they're a new trend. But the truth is, they've been around for a very, very, VERY long time.

Personally, I think now they're making a comeback for two reasons:

Social Media is playing a role in helping to educate and spread awareness about their physical, spiritual and emotional supportive properties. The only way to sell and market a product that cannot be smelled over phones is for people to come forward to share their own personal experiences. The largest two companies in the market - Young Living and Doterra - pay their members commission, which adds a greater incentive to educate their inner circles about something they already love.
The integration between Western and Eastern medicine, creating a more holistic approach to health & wellness, is re-introducing ancient practices to the modern peoples of the West. Spirituality is beginning to play an even greater role to the importance of wellness because as we have come to learn via quantum mechanics and the forefront of neuroscience - consciousness creates reality, and a state of happiness is now directly correlated to one's state of health.

Health Is Wealth

One of the most empowering and life-changing book's I've ever read was Barbara Marciniak's Path of Empowerment. According to the author, she didn't write it herself, per say, she channeled it from a collective of beings known as the Pleiadians.

As I always do, I picked up the book with an open mind, and reminded myself regularly to pay attention to how I felt as I was reading it. Was it empowering? Or did it make me dependent on something? Did it inspire me? Or make me feel pressured to change my thoughts? Was it helpful? Or did it just add more confusion to my life?

This book, I encourage anyone to read, if you are open to accepting the mere possibility of a new point of perception into your reality.

For example, here is a small snippet that really made a powerful impact for me.

Your biological computer is more sophisticated than any manufactured technology, because it is directly influenced by the symphonic complexity of your emotional responses to life. Remember your body is dutifully loyal in giving you feedback on the effects of your thoughts and feelings [symptoms].

Essentially, health is a state of mind. The decision to see your life as filled with inherent meaning, and the realization that everything occurs for a very good reason, are a prosperous use of your personal power.

Health is wealth, and a well-fortified immune system is the key to good health, and the simple key to a strong immune system is happiness. The transformation of human consciousness calls for you to accept personal responsibility for your health and healing, for you are the one who is ultimately in charge of your body and your life.

The ability to both give and receive love, in all its many shades of splendor, holds the true key to healing.

This is why happiness is so important - it should be something we are experiencing each day. Otherwise, we are not living, we are dying. This leads to depression, increased anxiety and eventually dis-ease because the physical body cannot sustain a life of a soul that does not want to be alive, trapped in a body that refuses to change, transform and grow. Spirituality must be recognized as an essential part of life and the more we continue to deny its existence, it's need for growth, love and happiness, we more we are unconsciously telling ourselves we are not worthy of these things. If we do not do something to consistently improve our multidimensional state of being (physical, spiritual, mental) then we become stuck, literally, which manifests as feeling stuck in bad relationships, lives, and jobs that make us miserable.

Essential Oils Are Not Essential

Now, back to the original blog topic - essential oils. I don't know how many honest sales people there are out there, but I am one of them. I'm going to tell you right now that you do not need anything outside of yourself to heal and free yourself. You do not need essential oils, you do not need to buy my jewelry, you do not need more skincare products, you do not need technology, crystals, or anything that can be purchased.

What you need is a sincere desire to want to improve your life and seek support from others who share that same passionate desire you have.

My private Facebook VIP group has been such a place where I have been able to share so much of my journey with everyone, receive and provide support back. My triumphs have become something that is celebrated with me and I am able to reciprocate and celebrate the triumphs of others through this community.

Essential oils are not essential to obtain a holistically balanced life. No. But they are one of many tools available to us, one which helps to realign us with the ancient practice of turning to Mother Earth for healing, love and support.
