Honest Opinion: The Best Sushi In New Orleans
Last week the Foo Fighters came in town to perform at the Filmore downtown. They sold out two nights in a row! I knew this concert was going to be epic.
Before the show, my husband and I wanted to hit up our favorite sushi restaurant in town. Feel free to disagree with me and leave a comment, but it is more than the quality of the sushi and the beautiful ambiance that keeps us coming back.
Tsunami on the corner of Poydras and St. Charles Ave has been our go-to sushi spot for the past two years. Due to our regularity, we've become well acquainted with the staff and some of the chefs behind the masterpieces.
One beautiful soul we've developed a friendship with is Hannah Elizabeth, a fellow Gemini air-sign and a jewelry designer herself! She's a breath of fresh air and always takes amazing care of us. You could be having a gloomy day and she'll shine the light right over you. If you decide to check it out, please ask for her and let her know Jack & Cristy sent ya 😉

I love Hana Sushi off St. Charles near Camelia Grill. My home town sushi spot whenever I come home.
Personally, I love love love Sushi Brothers on St Charles, and Mikimoto on Carrolton (their drive through pick up is so convenient)! Both always have very fresh fish and many delightful menu options.
I’ll try Tsunami soon to compare!
